Albert wants everyone to enjoy his Palace, but unfortunately doesn’t allow fancy dress, large sporting groups, or large single sex parties. We encourage all large groups to get in touch and book in advance. Please note, decisions regarding entry are made at the door at the time of arrival, and are at discretion of the venue team. If a member of you party appears to be intoxicated we reserve the right to refuse entry to the group.
Do you have step-free access?
Yes, all of our venues have step-free access and accessible toilets on the ground floor.
What time does your entertainment start and who is it?
Please refer to the Showtime section here as this varies day to day. We never charge for our entertainment however to support our musicians, actors and performers, a supplementary charge of 50p/75p/£1 (LPL/LDN/BRM+MANC) is added to all drinks during Showtime hours. This excludes soft drinks. £1/£2 (LPL/LDN,BRM+MANC) is also added to all bottles of wine, champagne and Prosecco.

All available time slots will show on the booking widget, if your desired time slot is not available this is because we are fully booked.
Why do I need to provide my card details to make a reservation?
Your card details simply secure your reservation, there is no charge at the time of booking and we cannot access your card details. We will only charge your card in case of a complete no show on the day, last minute cancellation or if you book a table in the Cook Haus and choose not to dine with us on the day. We require at least 6 hours notice for cancellations; anything less than this will incur a £10pp charge. If you have booked a drinks table/paid a deposit for your booking, please refer to your terms and conditions sent at the time of booking.
Can I book a table just for drinks?
We have a small number of drinks booths available for reservations for parties of 5+ – you can make an enquiry here. All reservations made for the Cook Haus are required to dine, if you wish to join us for drinks only we cannot guarantee the table reservation.
Do you have a happy hour?
Yes, our Après-Work hour is from 4pm-7pm Monday-Friday in Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham where we have selected £7 cocktails & £25 bottles of prosecco + £5 pints of Pilsner + Hofbrau.
Are children allowed in the restaurant?
Children are welcome to dine but must vacate by 8pm Monday – Thursday and 6pm Friday – Sunday.
Do you have an allergen guide?
Our online menu's provide all of our allergen information. We do request if you or a member of your party has any special dietary requirements/allergies we are informed at the time of booking and also upon arrival at the venue.
Can I order bakery items to take away?
Our bakery items are made fresh and ready to purchase from 10am Monday – Friday and 9am Saturday + Sunday until they run out. If you would like to pre-order any bread, cronuts or kruffins to take away please give us a call. All pre-orders will require payment upfront to confirm the order.
How do I contact the venue regarding lost property?
We allocate your table for specific times according to your table size, please refer to your email confirmation for the return time of your table.
Are you dog friendly?
Small, non-barking, dogs are allowed until 7pm however not in the restaurant area – please ensure you let us know if you’re bringing a dog and we can seat you in a dog friendly area.
Is there a guestlist?
We do not operate a guestlist unfortunately unless you have a reservation with us.
Do you have a dress code?
Albert requests that guests dress appropriately for our regal namesake; no fancy dress and no gym wear, or overly casual attire.
Do you sell giftcards and how can I purchase one?
Yes, you can buy a digital giftcard online via our web shop here. Alternatively you can pop in and see us for a physical giftcard.
Do you check for ID on arrival?
We check for ID on arrival if you look under 25 years of age. We have a strict no-ID, no-entry policy so please make sure you bring ID with you.
Are under 21’s allowed on a weekend?
We operate an over 21’s policy from 6pm on Friday – Sunday.
